Minnal FM

Minnal FM is a Tamil-language radio station from Malaysia, run by the state broadcaster Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). Its main frequency is 92.3 MHz in Kuala Lumpur, and its coverage area includes Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and parts of Indonesia. The stream describes its genre as Indian music.

The station is listed as a contemporary service mixing current music, general programming and infotainment, and it is said to have been the first 24-hour Indian-language broadcast service in the world. It serves the Tamil-speaking community in Malaysia and neighbouring countries, with presenters speaking Tamil.

The online stream is delivered through StreamTheWorld as AAC+ at about 64 kbps. Listeners can expect Tamil popular music together with news and light talk content. Because its owner, RTM, is Malaysia's public broadcaster, the station belongs to the national public radio family rather than a private commercial network. Minnal FM should not be confused with Raaga, a separate Tamil station owned by Astro.
