Dominicana FM 98.9 y 99.9

Dominicana FM is a Spanish-language radio station from the Dominican Republic, identified by its 98.9 and 99.9 FM frequencies. It plays Dominican and Latin popular music, with merengue, bachata and salsa the most prominent styles in its stream.

The station's website, dominicanafmrd.com, presents it simply as Dominicana FM, La Radio. Details such as ownership, studio location and the exact programme schedule are not published on the pages available, so they are not stated here. The stream metadata identifies it by the name Dominicana FM, and online directories list it among Dominican stations for bachata, merengue and Latin music.

Programming is in Spanish and aimed at Dominican listeners at home and abroad who want familiar tropical rhythms and popular hits. Listeners should expect a continuous music-led stream rather than a niche single-genre channel. The online feed is a 256 kbps stereo MP3 stream, a higher bitrate than most web radio, and plays in browsers and standard media players without any special software.
