Bootie Mashup Radio

Bootie Mashup Radio is the online radio stream of Bootie Mashup, a mashup-focused music brand and website. It plays mashups, the genre in which vocals and instrumentals from different songs are blended into new tracks, and the stream's metadata lists its genre simply as Mashup.

Bootie Mashup is known for its mashup parties, with listed events at the Cat Club in San Francisco, and its website also features weekly Top 10 mashup lists, yearly Best Of compilations, themed mixtapes, a blog, a mashup database and resident DJs who stream on Twitch. The site does not name a single owner on its front page. Vocals are mostly in English, drawn from the pop, rock and hip hop tracks that mashups typically combine.

Expect a constant flow of danceable, recognisable-yet-unfamiliar tracks rather than talk or news. The stream is delivered as MP3 at a high 320 kbps in stereo, so it suits good speakers and headphones, and it can be opened in any browser or app that supports MP3 streaming.
