Nova Brasil FM Recife 94.3

Nova Brasil FM Recife is the Recife station of the Novabrasil network, broadcasting on 94.3 MHz FM in Pernambuco, Brazil. It plays a mix of Brazilian popular music, with MPB and Brazilian pop and rock at the centre, aimed at an adult audience, and carries local news and information between songs.

The Recife station began broadcasting in March 2002 as part of the network's expansion beyond its home market. Its programming is in Brazilian Portuguese, with network shows such as the morning programme Nova Manhã and the evening programme Programa Radar. Details of the current schedule are published on the network's website.

Listeners can expect a relaxed, music-led sound with a strong emphasis on Brazilian artists, plus short news and service updates relevant to the Recife area. The online stream is delivered over HTTPS as a low-bitrate AAC+ feed of roughly 48 to 64 kbps, which is suitable for mobile connections and keeps data use modest while still carrying the station's live programming.
