La Voz del Pitic 88.1 FM

La Voz del Pitic is a noncommercial cultural radio station in Hermosillo, Sonora, in northwestern Mexico. It broadcasts on 88.1 FM under the call sign XHRMO-FM and also streams online, so listeners outside the city can follow it through a web player. Its programming is in Spanish and is described in public sources as a variety format rather than a single genre, with cultural content, local voices, talk and music.

The station is held by the civil association Democracia y Deliberación Desértica, A.C., under a social concession, which is the licence type Mexico gives to community and cultural broadcasters. According to public sources it began transmitting online in August 2018 and started broadcasting on 88.1 FM in January 2019.

Expect a local, community-oriented sound aimed at residents of Hermosillo and the surrounding region, with an emphasis on culture and public conversation rather than commercial radio. Detailed schedules are not reproduced here; the station's own website is the best source for current shows. The stream is a 128 kbps MP3 feed delivered over HTTPS and plays in any standard browser or radio app.
