Rádio Povídka

Rádio Povídka is a Czech internet radio channel devoted to spoken-word fiction. Instead of a music playlist, it broadcasts short stories and readings in Czech, with programming described by directories as covering adventure, historical, comedy and detective tales.

The channel is part of AB Radio, a Czech internet radio service whose contact address is listed in Prague. Listings mention authors such as Jules Verne, Agatha Christie and Karel Čapek among the material heard on the channel. The spoken language is Czech, so it suits listeners who enjoy audio storytelling in that language, for example while commuting, working or winding down in the evening.

The station is delivered as a 128 kbps MP3 stream over HTTPS and works in any browser or standard audio player. A detailed programme schedule and the full list of authors and titles are not published in the sources consulted, so what you hear at any moment will vary; expect continuous narrated stories rather than music, news or talk shows.
