89.0 RTL Flashback

89.0 RTL Flashback is a web-only music stream from the German station 89.0 RTL, a contemporary hit radio broadcaster based in Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt. As the name suggests, the channel looks back at older pop hits instead of the current chart rotation of the main programme.

89.0 RTL targets a young audience and offers several additional online streams next to its terrestrial programme. Flashback is one of these extra channels; the station does not publish a detailed playlist on the pages we could verify, so the exact decades and artists covered are not documented here. The programme and presenters are German-speaking, while the songs can include both German and international titles.

Expect a continuous, music-focused stream with little interruption, suitable for listeners who want familiar hits without a live studio show. The stream is delivered as stereo MP3 at 256 kbps over HTTPS, a higher quality than many web radio channels, and it works in browsers, mobile apps and internet radio devices.
