egoFLASH

egoFLASH is the electronic music channel of the German broadcaster egoFM. It is a web stream that focuses on electronic pop, vocal house and fresh tracks from club scenes, with artists in the vein of Paul Kalkbrenner, Major Lazer and SBTRKT cited as typical examples.

egoFM is based in Munich and is known for its focus on new and independent music. After ending its FM broadcasts in Bavaria and Stuttgart in mid-2025 it relies on DAB+ and online streams, and egoFLASH is one of several genre streams offered next to the main programme, alongside channels such as egoRAP, egoRIFF and egoSOUL.

Listeners can expect a mostly music-driven programme in which electronic styles dominate, aimed at people who enjoy modern dance floor sounds as well as more melodic electronic pop. Presentation and station information are in German, while many of the songs are in English. The stream is delivered as stereo MP3 at 128 kbps over HTTPS and plays in browsers, apps and internet radio devices.
