80s Flash Back

80s Flash Back is an Icelandic internet radio channel dedicated to the music of the 1980s. It plays pop and other hits from the decade, aimed at listeners who want a continuous nostalgic soundtrack.

The stream is carried by Spilarinn, an Icelandic app and website that brings a variety of radio stations together in one player, available on iOS and Google Play. The stream's own metadata gives no name, and further details about its owner, presenters or programming are not published in the sources reviewed, so they are not stated here. The surrounding service is presented in Icelandic, while the songs themselves are mostly international hits.

Expect a steady run of eighties favourites with little interruption, a good fit for the background of a day at work or a party with an 80s theme. The stream is delivered as stereo MP3 at about 128 kbps, which plays in browsers, phones and most internet radio devices without any special software.
