Radio Record 2000s

Radio Record 2000s is a thematic channel of the Russian network Radio Record dedicated to the music of the 2000s. The stream is tagged as oldies by its broadcaster and centres on dance and electronic-leaning pop from that decade, the sort of tracks that filled clubs and radio playlists in the early years of the new millennium.

Radio Record is a Russian radio network focused on electronic and dance music, and it runs many thematic online channels alongside its main station. The details of ownership and staffing for individual channels are not published on the channel pages. This channel is one of its decade-based streams, so it is aimed at listeners who want nostalgic dance-floor material rather than current chart releases. Station branding is in Russian, while the music itself is largely international and includes many English-language songs.

Expect a continuous flow of music with little talk. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as AAC audio at roughly 96 kbit/s stereo, which suits mobile and desktop listening alike. The channel is part of the wider Radio Record catalogue, so listeners who enjoy it can find sibling channels for other genres and eras on the official site, radiorecord.ru.
