Rewind 92.1

Rewind 92.1 is a classic hits and adult hits radio station licensed to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, serving the Madison area on 92.1 FM with the call sign WXXM. It plays familiar popular songs from past decades, aimed at listeners who enjoy a nostalgic, easy-to-sing-along mix. For much of November and December the station switches to Christmas music.

The station is owned by iHeartMedia, with studios in Fitchburg, and broadcasts as a Class A FM station. It signed on in 1972 as WYXE playing Top 40 and went through several formats and names, including alternative rock as WMAD, modern adult contemporary as Mix 92.1 and progressive talk as The Mic 92.1, before becoming Rewind 92.1 as a classic hits station in November 2016. It moved to an adult hits format under the Rewind brand in November 2019.

Programming is in English. Expect a relaxed, familiar sound rather than news or talk. This stream is delivered over HLS in AAC at a low bitrate of about 24 kbps mono, which keeps data use small.
