Radio Emscher Lippe Deutschpop

Radio Emscher Lippe Deutschpop, branded Dein Deutschpop Radio, is a themed online stream of Radio Emscher Lippe, the local radio station for Gelsenkirchen, Bottrop and Gladbeck in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It plays German-language pop music without the local news and talk of the main programme.

Radio Emscher Lippe is one of the NRW local radio stations. According to a state parliament document, Funke Mediengruppe holds 67 percent of the station and the city of Gelsenkirchen holds 19 percent. Besides the main programme, the station runs several themed streams, including rock and carnival channels, and this is the German pop one. Playlists show contemporary acts such as Revolverheld and Die Fantastischen Vier.

Listeners can expect a continuous run of pop songs in German, aimed at fans of the genre across Germany. The stream is MP3 at 192 kbps. The channel's own schedule and launch date are not published on the pages consulted. Note that the stream was silent at one automated check, so it may occasionally pause between programme elements.
