Capital Dance

Capital Dance is a national UK digital radio station dedicated to dance music. It plays current electronic dance music, club mixes and dance anthems around the clock, and it is part of the Capital family of stations rather than a local FM service.

The station is owned and operated by Global, the British media group that also runs Capital, Capital Xtra and Capital Chill. It launched on 1 October 2020 with MistaJam among its first presenters, and it broadcasts from Global's studios in Leicester Square, London. It is available on DAB digital radio, online and through the Global Player app, with all speech and presentation in English.

Listeners can expect a mix of chart-friendly dance tracks, house and electronic releases, with presenter-led shows alongside long music-led stretches. This stream is delivered as a low-bitrate AAC feed of around 48 kbps, suited to mobile and limited connections. Programme details and schedules change over time, so the station's own website is the best place to check what is on.
