Capital Glasgow

Capital Glasgow is a commercial hit music radio station for Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland, officially known as Capital Scotland. It plays the latest chart pop, dance and hip hop, and this stream is a low-bitrate AAC feed of about 48 kbps.

The station began in 1999 as Beat 106 and later became XFM Scotland and Galaxy Scotland before being rebranded Capital in January 2011. Its FM frequencies are 105.7 and 106.1 MHz. It carries the Capital brand under licence from Global, with local shows produced from Glasgow and networked programmes coming from London. Global invested in its Glasgow broadcast centre in 2023 and launched a new local breakfast show that year.

Listeners can expect a steady mix of current chart hits and recent favourites, with presenter-led local shows, competitions, news and travel updates. Programming is in English. The stream is a continuous live feed that can be played on any device with an internet connection.
