Capital FM

Capital FM is the London flagship of Capital, the UK's contemporary hit radio network, which uses the tagline "The UK's No.1 Hit Music Station". It plays current chart pop, dance and hip hop alongside recent favourites, with presenters and short news and travel updates between the music.

The Capital network launched on 3 January 2011, replacing the Galaxy and Hit Music brands, and is owned by Global, which also runs Heart, Classic FM and LBC. The London station began as 95.8 Capital FM and has been rebranded several times. Broadcasts are in English and aimed mainly at a young adult audience.
