TOPbam

TOPbam is a harddance web radio channel from TOPradio, a Belgian commercial station based in Ghent that normally focuses on dance and dance-pop music. TOPbam is dedicated to harder styles, notably hardstyle and hardcore, together with hard techno, and is promoted as a station for harddance fans in Flanders.

The channel belongs to the TOPradio family, which began broadcasting in 1982 and took the TOPradio name in 1996, and is aimed at a young, Dutch-speaking audience. Its programming is almost entirely electronic music with little talk. The name is commonly read as short for Bass And More. Listeners can expect high-tempo kicks, distorted bass and classic as well as current tracks from the hard dance scene, a sound rooted partly in the Belgian hardcore techno of the early 1990s.

The stream is distributed over the internet as MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo through a streaming network, and it is also offered in the player on the TOPradio website. Further details about the schedule and the people behind the channel are not published in the sources consulted.
