Canadian Chinese Radio FM 94.7

Canadian Chinese Radio FM 94.7 is a Cantonese-language full-service station in Vancouver. The schedule includes news, talk, music and community programmes for Chinese-speaking audiences. The tone is lively and community-oriented. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection.

Canada has a diverse radio landscape, with the public CBC and Radio-Canada services, large commercial groups, campus and community stations and many multilingual and online broadcasters, and its radio reflects a country of English, French and many other languages. Vancouver has one of the largest Chinese-speaking communities in North America. The stream is delivered as AAC at 51 kbps, a very low bitrate that keeps data use minimal and is adequate for speech, although the sound is thin and not suited to music. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
