Naim Jazz

Naim Jazz is a jazz channel from Naim, the British maker of high-end audio equipment, delivered in a lossless format. The programme offers a refined selection of jazz, from classic recordings to modern interpretations, chosen for excellent sound quality as well as musical interest, with the warm tone of acoustic instruments in the foreground. The mood is sophisticated and calm.

The United Kingdom has one of the most developed radio markets in the world, with the BBC, large commercial groups and a growing number of online-only stations, and British radio is heard by listeners far beyond the country through the internet. Naim Audio is based in Salisbury and has long been associated with hi-fi enthusiasts, and its radio channels are designed to show what good equipment can do. The stream is delivered as Ogg at 128 kbps, a modern codec that provides a clear and clean sound at a moderate bitrate and works in most current browsers and on phones. The directory lists the stream as Ogg at 128 kbps, although the name refers to FLAC, so the exact format and quality may differ from the label, and some browsers and older devices may not play it. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
