Christian Power Praise

Christian Power Praise is a US internet station playing Christian praise and worship music. The programme brings together contemporary worship songs, praise anthems and uplifting Christian pop and rock, with the choruses and melodies that are sung in churches and youth groups, selected to inspire and encourage. The mood is joyful and reverent, and the station is designed for listeners who want faith-centred music at home, at work or on the road.

The station is part of a family of Christian internet radio channels, including a rock stream, and it can be heard in any country. The content is explicitly faith-based, which differs from general entertainment radio, although the musical quality appeals to many people who simply enjoy uplifting songs. Announcements are brief and in English. The station is likely to be supported by donations and sponsors, and the details of the operators are not fully published. The stream is delivered as AAC at 128 kbps, a modern codec that provides a clearer and cleaner sound than MP3 at the same bitrate and works in most current browsers and on phones. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
