Top Radio

Top Radio, with the tagline From Ukraine to Spain, is an internet radio station on the laut.fm platform. The name and the tags suggest a programme of popular songs connecting Ukrainian and Spanish listeners, probably aimed at Ukrainians who live in Spain and at fans of Eastern European pop, with a mixture of Ukrainian, Russian and international hits. The mood is friendly and informal, designed as a link between home and a new country.

laut.fm is a German platform that allows anyone to run an internet radio station, which has produced thousands of small channels devoted to every imaginable taste, including community stations for diaspora groups. The station is curated by its operators rather than by an algorithm, and the details of the schedule are not published, so the programme may vary. The Ukrainian community in Spain has grown considerably, and online radio helps people to hear the language and music of home. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which provides a clear and balanced sound on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
