Babyland

Babyland is a Turkish web radio channel with lullabies and music for children. The programme offers a continuous stream of gentle songs, lullabies, nursery rhymes and soft instrumental pieces that are suitable for babies and young children, whether for bedtime, play or quiet time. The sound is soft, slow and soothing, with simple melodies and warm voices or instruments, and it avoids the sudden changes that might disturb a child.

Babyland belongs to a group of Turkish web radios with the suffix land, such as Houseland, Danceland and Classicland, each devoted to a specific style, and operated through the Radyo TV Online platform, which hosts many internet stations from Turkey. For parents, a children's channel is a convenient alternative to choosing individual tracks, and it can be played quietly in a nursery. As the content is mostly music, it can be enjoyed in any country, although some songs may be in Turkish. The details of the schedule are not published in the metadata, so the programme may vary over time. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 128 kbps, an efficient codec that gives a clear and clean sound at a moderate bitrate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
