Houseland

Houseland is a Turkish web radio playing house music. The programme offers a continuous flow of house in its many forms, from deep and melodic house to club-oriented and vocal house, with steady four-on-the-floor beats, warm basslines and the atmosphere of a late-night set. It is intended for listeners who want dance music without the talk of general-purpose stations, whether for parties, exercise, work or relaxing at home.

Houseland belongs to a group of Turkish web radios with the suffix land, such as Danceland, Classicland and Babyland, each devoted to a specific style, and operated through the Radyo TV Online platform, which hosts many internet stations from Turkey. Turkey has a strong club scene in cities like Istanbul and Bodrum, and house music is an important part of it. The details of the schedule are not published in the metadata, and the programme is mostly music, with brief announcements. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 128 kbps, an efficient codec that gives a clear and clean sound with good bass at a moderate bitrate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
