BBC Radio 1 Dance

BBC Radio 1 Dance is a stream of dance music from the BBC, with the biggest current, future and classic dance vibes. The channel is a companion to Radio 1 and features house, techno, drum and bass, garage, trance and the many styles of electronic music that fill clubs and festivals, with mixes from DJs, new releases, guest sets and archive recordings. The sound is energetic and polished, and the channel follows the rhythm of the British dance scene, which is among the most influential in the world.

BBC Radio 1 has been associated with dance music for many years through programmes such as Essential Mix, which has featured the world's most famous DJs, and this stream keeps that spirit going throughout the day. As a service of the BBC, it is funded mainly by the licence fee and carries no commercial advertising within the United Kingdom. Because of music rights, some programmes may be restricted outside the United Kingdom. The feed does not declare a fixed codec in its metadata, and the quality may vary with the source. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites for workouts and parties.
