Radio BluesFlac

Radio BluesFlac is an online station devoted to blues, broadcast in lossless FLAC audio for listeners who care about sound quality. Its website, BluesFlac, describes it as the best blues with the best sound. This entry points to the same stream as another BluesFlac listing in the catalogue.

The music spans the breadth of the blues: electric blues, Texas and Chicago blues, West Coast blues, blues rock, contemporary blues and rhythm and blues. The website combines the stream with a blog, artist pages and a feed of recently played tracks sourced from Last.fm. The owner and the physical location of the station are not stated on the site, and the country shown in the catalogue could not be verified.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as an Ogg container carrying FLAC audio, with a very high bitrate of around 1,500 kbps. That makes it demanding on bandwidth, and listeners on slower or metered connections may find it better suited to home Wi-Fi. The text on the site is in English, and the stream's own metadata names it Radio Bluesflac.
