Chérie FM Réunion

Chérie FM Réunion is the Réunion Island service of Chérie FM, the French pop and adult-contemporary radio brand. It plays easy-going pop music with a focus on love songs and feel-good hits, and is aimed at a broad adult audience. Its stream is tagged as pop and love songs.

Chérie FM was created in 1987 and belongs to the NRJ Group. The Réunion station is listed in audience surveys as a separate station from NRJ Réunion, and directory listings give its frequency as 101.9 FM in Saint-Denis. The programming and presentation are in French.

Listeners can expect a warm, melodic mix of songs from recent years and earlier decades, with local presenters and information relevant to the island. Because the stream carries the same brand as the other Chérie FM stations, the sound is consistent with the wider network, while the Réunion service remains its own local station. Online, the station is available as an MP3 stream at 128 kbps. A detailed programme schedule is available on the station's website at cheriefm.re.
