Capital Nottinghamshire

Capital Nottinghamshire is the local Capital station for Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England. It plays chart and current pop hits, and the Capital website bills the network as the UK's number one hit music station. The stream identifies itself as Hit Music.

The station is part of the Capital network run by Global, the British media group that also owns Heart, Smooth and LBC. Capital stations share a brand and a large share of their programming, with local content for each area. Broadcasts are in English and target a young adult audience that follows the latest releases and the singles charts.

Listeners can expect a steady rotation of popular pop, dance and chart tracks, along with presenter-led shows and local updates. This stream is a low-bitrate AAC feed at about 48 kbps in stereo over HTTPS, which suits mobile connections and limited bandwidth. The Capital website lists the current programme and playlists for the network.
