Radyo Şivan Perwer

Radyo Şivan Perwer is an online radio stream that, judging by its name and stream metadata, is dedicated to the music of Şivan Perwer, the Kurdish singer, poet and tanbur player. Perwer was born in 1955 in southeastern Turkey, went into exile in Germany in 1976, and is one of the best-known voices of Kurdish song and its folk tradition.

The stream is hosted on the Zeno platform. No owner, operator, city or official website is published, so those details cannot be verified; the catalogue lists Iraq as the country, but this is not confirmed. The language of the music is Kurdish.

Listeners can expect a continuous music programme of Kurdish songs, with Perwer's recordings at the centre. There appear to be no presenters or news. The station is delivered as a plain MP3 stream at 128 kbps, stereo, which works in any browser or player. Because the operator is not identified, the exact programming mix and any other artists featured are not documented.
