Mix FM 87.8

Mix FM 87.8 is a Cairo FM station broadcasting on 87.8 MHz in Egypt. It focuses on popular music, mixing Arabic and Egyptian hits with international pop, together with short news items between songs.

The station's website is mixfmegypt.com. Public sources list it as a hit-music station for Cairo, but its owner and launch date are not clearly published, and no detailed programme schedule is available. The stream identifies itself as Arab Mix FM.

Listeners can expect a lively, contemporary playlist aimed at a young urban audience, with presenters speaking mainly in Arabic. The format is built around current hits and well-known songs rather than niche genres, so it works well as background music during the day, in the car or at work. The online stream is a 128 kbps MP3 feed delivered over HTTPS, so listeners outside Cairo can follow the station on phones, computers and smart speakers without special software, wherever they happen to be in the world.
