Piraten.fm

Piraten.fm is a Dutch internet station that revives the spirit of the pirate radio stations of old, playing Dutch and international hits in a rough and free-spirited style. The programme is a mix of pop, Nederpop and party songs, with the humour of independent radio. The mood is cheerful and irreverent.

The Netherlands has a compact but very competitive radio market, with public channels from NPO, regional broadcasters, national commercial networks and many web stations, and Dutch radio is a useful source of listening practice for learners and a link with home for the Dutch abroad. The station is an independent online service, and the details of its operators are not fully published. The station information does not declare the codec or bitrate of this feed, so the sound quality may vary with the source and your connection. This is the first of two top streams of the station. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
