Jungletrain.net

Jungletrain.net is a Dutch-run internet station playing drum and bass and jungle around the clock. The programme is full of fast breakbeats, deep sub-bass and heavy drops, from the classic jungle of the 1990s to modern drum and bass, mixed in the style of a DJ set. The mood is intense and high-energy, with a loyal community of fans around the world.

The Netherlands has a compact but very competitive radio market, with public channels from NPO, national commercial networks and many web stations, and Dutch radio is a useful source of listening practice for learners and a link with home for the Dutch abroad. The station has been online for many years and is known for its dedication to the genre and its continuous mixes. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 256 kbps, a very high bitrate that gives music a full, clean and detailed sound, particularly on good headphones or speakers, though it uses more data than typical streams. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
