Radio Majevica

Radio Majevica is a radio station from Majevica region in north-east Bosnia in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The programme is narodna, zabavna and original folk music, presented in the local language by friendly hosts who add news, greetings and community announcements. The mood is warm and local.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has a crowded local radio scene, with public broadcasters and many municipal and private stations, and online streams let the large Bosnian diaspora in Germany, Austria, Scandinavia and beyond keep in touch with the music and language of home. The programme leans on narodna (folk) and zabavna (light entertainment) music, the popular styles of the region. The listing does not publish a detailed profile of the station, so the exact schedule may vary, and listeners should expect a small-scale service. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 96 kbps, a moderate bitrate that provides a good sound for speech and music while keeping data use modest. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
