Radio Veronica

Radio Veronica is a Dutch radio station playing the greatest hits of pop and rock. The programme combines classic songs of the sixties, seventies and eighties with newer favourites, presented in Dutch. The name recalls the offshore pirate station of the 1960s. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection.

The Netherlands has a competitive radio market, and Veronica is among the best-known brands. As a commercial service it carries advertising. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 64 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small and is adequate for casual listening, though the sound is less detailed than on higher-bitrate streams. This is another listing of the station. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
